Design for Print simply means anything designed that will end up being physically printed in some form such as on paper or exhibition panels. This includes printed book and magazine adverts, stationery, catalogues, posters, point-of-sale, CD covers, DVD covers, exhibition stand graphics, corporate identity and many other projects.
Mac Artworking is generally centred around the digital design and production stage of a project. This will typically be after much of the initial creative side of the project has already been carried out. Mac artworking also involves updating / re-purposing and re-sizing or transferring from traditional artwork to digital artwork for a new lease of life or specification change.
I have extensive experience taking jobs from initial concepts to final print-ready artwork in most areas of print design. Trevor has a great understanding of the book industry, both in its physical and digital form, with a broad range of knowledge in typography.Paul
